Biography

Kathleen Flanagan
is a Halifax-based photographer. Her approach to photography is shaped by a background in adult learning. A photographer and adult educator since 1981 and an academic administrator since 1999, she holds a bachelor’s degree in photography, a master’s degree in education, and a doctoral degree in adult education. She taught photography at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University for 15 years (1987-2002). Currently Kathleen is a consultant providing assistance to various projects related to workforce development, advanced education, literacy and essential skills, and the non-profit sector.
